South Africa on the brink of collapse

Corruption and incompetence is what lead South Africa to this. The only african non oil country that had a realistic chance to become an advanced economy.

Like what nigga on a brain donation list thought it was a smart idea to create a country between Kikuyus, Maasais, Oromos, Somalis and Swahilis?

:dead:

A nigga trying to make a buck, that's who.

:damn:
On paper that ethnic dynamic of Kenya looks like a social-political powder keg. The funny thing is, in reality that ethnic mix is finely balanced and very stable politically.

In Kenya the largest ethnic group Kikuyu is just about 15% of the population, then other groups like Kalejin, luo, luhya, Somali, Swahilis etc follow with like 10%, 8%, 7%, 5%, 4% etc. That is finely balanced, meaning no group singly enjoys absolute political majority. Unlike for example a place like Ethiopia where Oromo and Amhara are like 40% and 30% of the population and have absolute political power over other ethnic groups in the country.

South Africa is a moral dystopia and 3rd world at the same time. That's a tragedy. They missed the economic prosperity part and skipped to the slow depraved decline phase, which means that the country will never fix itself because of how entrenched the lack of focus on the heterogeneity in the economy is but, further, the social, cultural, and demographics of South Africa is of a decadent proportion.

Forget the Black and White historical dynamics or whatever old-thinking people always bring up (although I don't downplay Apartheid. I don't hold a positive view of privileged cadaans in that country). It's merely the collective human quality of that country. A place like Congo has more potential in the long term, deserving more attention. I can't respect a place that became LGBT-friendly before white people themselves. That tells you how they stand for nothing.

I never wanted to visit South Africa. It's like a stereotypical caricature of Africa. A region that pretends to be of authentic African formation, but it's all artificial. South Africa is the White man's idea of Africa. That's what I believed since I was a child. A factor that always disagreed with me. I don't respect it. They d for Western appeal since 1994 instead of asking themselves, "Who are we, and what do we want?" introspectively. There is no real cross-ethnic national identity.

The only way for that place to ever have any chance is if it falls apart, forcing the people to grow a new coherent consciousness with grounded values and focus and start over with zero historical memory or care for today's South Africa. A phoenix that rises out of the ashes. South Africa has to die for it to succeed. Otherwise, it's staying like this until it does not, in a slow and undignifying way.

One of the biggest trends in South Africa the last few years has been the decline of Joburg’s suburbs, it's morphing into a giant Haiti. Corruption and lack of political will has genuinely finished what should have been the continent's equivalent of Japan.

The south African Economy has stagnated for decades now. Infrastructure is falling apart. The govt cannot even properly run the country's power utility company. These days you see South Africans on social media complaining about load shedding and power blackouts.

The ruling party ANC is proving to be an absolutely incompetent organisation. It is unbelievable seeing them run down Africas 'most developed' country. It will take them massive effort to turn things around.

White nationalists all over the world are rubbing their hands with glee waiting for everything to unravel in South African. They can't wait to regurgitate their rhetoric saying black man cannot build, govern and maintain a stable developed country.

To be fair Johannesburg suburbs are predominantly populated by White South Africans. I doubt the average South African gives a shit.
