from my anecdotal experience somali women from the uk and europe were more open to try east asian food then the dudes.

Yeah my problem started when I first tried out noodles in 4th grade. Had vomit the same day. Likely a bad batch but to this day I haven’t retuned to that kind of food, just walking past a Chinese shop with that smell gives me PTSD
