G Herbo’s PTSD ft Chance the Rapper, Lil Uzi Vert, and the late Juice WRLD- with production
by DA Got That Dope.

A somber banger off Herbo’s album of the same name, the song begins with the now dead Juice mournfully singing

“I got a warzone inside of my head/ I made it on my own, they said I’d be in jail or dead/ I’ve seen my brothers fall over and over again/ Don’t stand too close to me, I got PTSD.”

This leads to Herbo’s verse detailing the traumas he lived through throughout his adolescence in Chicago, and the people he has lost, including the singer of the chorus.

Herbo’s verse directly leads into Chance’s- after Juice’s hook.

Chance, as usual, drags the entire song he is featured on down- and his tired and over exaggerated bars are still annoying.

His pitiful bars lead into a half bar verse from Juice WRLD himself.

Juice’s verse reflects on the destructive lifestyle (“the days seem longer as life gets shorter/ we know sex, drugs, money all in that order”) that led him to where he stands now.

this leads to Uzi’s lackluster half bar verse, which was likely just used to hype attention around his long forthcoming album Eternal Atake.

One of the better rap songs of 2020 so far.

have a listen,
