Some Somalis want to ally with amharas and fano

What do you guys think if this guys idea share your thoughts what are the pros and cons of this

I think it’s a good idea. I saw an Amhara user make this suggest on Reddit last year and I couldn’t think of reason why we shouldn’t. This is politics and working together could be in both of our best interests

Why not? We should also ally with Tigray. Ethiopia is run by Oromo now so we should adjust accordingly, it’s common sense but we are too emotional.

Remember when CBB were supporting abiy against TPLF and saying #handsoffethiopia on twitter? Compare that to afwerki who gives weapons to FANO despite his history with amharas.

Our ‘ally’ (according to many) Eritrea will probably hop on this SL/ethiopia bandwagon, men vs boys.

Afwerki just gives weapons to Fano so they can destroy Ethiopia and cause chaos. An actual Amhara govt will be a hindrance to Eritrea. I’m pretty sure Eritrea will back FGS on this though. It’s not in our interests for Ethiopia to have a naval base (or even a navy)

Fano militia aren't that different from the govt in Addis Ababa when it comes to the national interest of Ethiopia as Amxaar are Ethiopiansts not people who are looking to breakup Ethiopia an idea that's only popular among certain Somalis but not the whole Ethiopian multiethnic groups where each one wants to be the ruler of Ethiopia.

Yeah exactly, FANO don’t have a chance of winning and governing the entire country. all they can do is wear down the ENDF, it’s the perfect partnership for Eritrea

Oh 100% . You don’t know how relieved I am. I don’t even think they’d manage to get Assab militarily but I don’t want my folks back home being put into trenches
