also people tend to forget we have the longest costline in mainland Africa with lots of fish and minerals beneath our coastline. I have heard we have a gold deposit in sanaag region.

We have all sorts of natural resources. From oil and gold to a fourth of the world uranium supply some where beneath the red desert we call mudug probably. We got top of the line frankincense, astonishing beaches and most importantly we have a massive territory for our people.

Natural resources in Somalia is largely a myth. Nothing of substantial economical value have been proven except for limited oil production in Ogaden.

There is potential for oil offshore Jubaland along Indian Ocean. Sool region basin especially the area between Lascanood & Garoow have great prospect. Smaller oil fields exists in Oodweyn, Caynaba & Berbera.

Our land is mostly a desert until proven recoverable oil reserves are announced.
