With rising anti-immigrant and Islamaphobic sentiments going on in Europe it would be in the best interests of reer UK and reer Sweden to leave and go to either America/Canada or back to Somalia. These places offer nothing to Somalis as we never assimilate and so will always be seen as foreigners. Canada has admittedly been getting very bad too lately, there's definitely been an increase in xenophobia with the influx of international students (particularly Indians) coming in droves. I was born in Canada and the question I've always been used to was 'Where are you from?' and now it deadass turned into 'When did you get here' or even 'Are you an international student' astaghfurilah.

I had an cadaan coworker laugh in my face while asking me 'So when did you get here?'. As if he assumed I was also an international. His goofy ass froze when I told him I was born here smh.
