Somalis have been fleeing Jigjiga for the past 2 months due to rising insecurity. Oromo/Amhara bandits are kidnapping our young females & killing them

I had family visit Jigjiga just a few years ago and it was safe. How did the situation deteriorate so quickly? Ethiopia is definitely heading towards round of genocidal civil war in the next few years(well technically it has already begun).

It seems to me that there is an ongoing attempt at a demographic change. Only way forward at this point is to arm our people in Galbeed to defend themselves from encroachment and change the status quo in our favour. We only have ourselves to protect each other and our ancestral homeland.

When will Somalis wake up and start to protest. Somali unity is crucial at these moments.

This is nothing more than Reer Abdulle of Ogaden propaganda trying to score cheap political points to paint Cagjar administration as weak

Its not real.

There is a tradition of Ethiopian shaqaalos kidnapping children though its kind of a stereotype.

Used to happen in Hargeisa mostly because it was hired help doing it and Jigjiga was a hamlet. They would raise them as Amxaaro, really weird stuff.
Are the kids ever found after the kidnapping? Sounds like a parents worst nightmare

Many times they are caught in the act it actually happened to some relatives of mine from Hargeysa.

Once they are gone its rare to find them but there are some videos of people talking about finding out they are Somali as adults.
