When it comes to the private sector Somaliland is well ahead of all other regions.

@Samaalism the unemployment in Somaliland is upwards of 80% far higher than the rest of Somalia including Puntland. To add insult to injury the largest industry aside from livestock is khat which makes up 30% of the gross domestic product.

Who collected these statistics? The fact of the matter is Somaliland has the largest amount of headquarters for big Somali companies. Somaliland has the busiest port. Somaliland has the most diaspora come back in the holiday seasons. Somaliland is leading in the production of small manufacturing goods out of all Somali regions. Somaliland has a Coca Cola factory Somaliland cement plant is currently under construction. Like what do other regions have where do the jobs come from. It’s all hot air.
You have been drinking the kool aid. There are many studies and policy papers on this. It’s even on the Somaliland Planning ministry’s website.

There is no study with field work that has taken place in any part of somalia. The most there is the fake reports that are done in xamar and Nairobi offices. These are the same reports that claimed jammame population halfed in size between 2005 and 2014 and afmadows population doubled in that period.
Somaliland is also leading in the education and health care sector where people from all over Somalia come to get treated and educated.
