Somaliland in all honesty isn't the will of the people. It's only supported by Hargeisa/Berbera and can be proven thru 'sample polling' across key demographics of their towns in Burco-Erigavo-Awdal-SSC-Sanaag. I mean SSC flip flops for jobs and the world know it and is really Somalia at the local level. Awdal-Burco-Erigavo people only tolerate it till Somalia government is stronger.
So who the hell do you speak with when the will of a 'few' is trying to enforce itself on the will of the majority. Somaliland will become most likely federal territory where each state report under the SFG and get's federal taxes to support their region development(once the mogadishu factor is over). This worries I think Hargeisa clan because their kept afloat by all 'Isaaq diaspora' who invest not their locals and they feel they will go broke if all Isaaq leave.
Tough luck, you can't force a state on a people, it has to come from them or else your wasting precious time and money on an unwinnable war.
