One way to destroy al shabaab is to cut them off from their outside funders. We need to nationalise internet in somalia and set up our own homeland security agency to root out these traitors, bu since we don't have the funds yet that project will have to wait. What we can do now is invest in border patrol to prevent them entering and leaving our country if they come from kenya or ethiopia. Secondly we need to keep an eye on our ports so that no interaction can occur between them and their outside allies, we need to corner their markets and prevent them from accessing certain materials needed to create bombs by having security guards note down what every citizen purchases and the government must limit the sale of highly explosive substances to normal civilians. I also advocate that the government begins bugging houses of every suspected citizen to ensure that they are not contacting or supporting these terrorists.Lastly the government needs to stop being cheap and pay young men to enlist in the military in order to fight for their freedom and their lives and they need to converge together on al-shabaab's hideouts to keep pressure on them until they are defeated. How can 10,000 terrorists undermine a government that could muster up all the men in the country if necessary? have somalis back home grown too cowardly and lazy to fight the holy war against ppl who betray them and their country?
