Keynotes:

  1. In the first quarter of 2021, domestic revenue collection by the Government of Somaliland was 549.4 billion SLSh—a 20% increase from the 463.8 billion SLSh collected in the same period in 2020.
  2. On the expenditure side, the government spent 371.1 billion SLSh from the general government fund—representing a significant 25% underspend against a 496.9 billion SLSh target.
  3. The inflation rate in Somaliland significantly slowed in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020.
