There have been a few projects to revive Somalia's agricultural knowledge & economy so the production procentage is increasing and slowly recovering to it's full potential.

There are Somali based/founded companies/NGOs and educated experts leading the initiative & testing new agricultural technologies.

One in particular is SATG:Filsan.

I love this because unlike other African communities we do not import white or asian farmers to exploit our farmland instead we have the Somali diaspora returning transfering skill and knowledge of farming technologies to the Somali communities.
