These soilders were trainned under the manafate of Sh Sharif when Gandi was the defence minister of Somalia

They were trainned in Isiolo and the game plan was to fight AS in Gedo and the two Jubbas.

Col Abas was one of the main people in the project and mx had a substantial amount of militias that contribited to it.Most of the militia were recruited from refugee camps and were somali refugees.

The trainning continued and Sheikh sharif even wanted them to be brought to xamar but it was rejected as then the region was hub of AS.There was no Barre Hiraale and your uncle was chased from govt within 6 months.

After the trainning was accomplished some soilders were sent to Gedo under Col Abbaas and the other to Lower Jubba under an Ogaden Col forgot his name.

Both used KDF to capture areas in Gedo and Jubba that were under AS.

Its later on when they couldnt capture Dhobley did Madhoobe and raskaamboni joined the fight it took Madhoobe more than 6 months to move from Dhobley to Kismaayo.
When Madhoobe was capturing Kismaayo there was no mx resistance the only mx resistance started when Huraale left Gedo for Xamar 7nder Xassan sheikh and was given money and weapons he came to Kismaayo using boat.

Ethiopia was not cotrolling most of Gedo places like Ceelwaaq Bula Xaawo and Mandeera was not being controlled.
But areas like Luuq,Dollow was properly under Ethiopia.

The kenyan sector were in Bardheere,Ceelwaaq & Bula Xaawo.

2000 is a small figure to use to thwart AS in Gedo & Jubba.

There was Kenyan project recently to create a liyu polis model like in Somali state to fight AS in NFD.

These guys are cutting clips and making up stories.

Gandi was minister of defence under Sheokh Sharif he called in retired SNA generals like Galaal and was devising a war to combat AS and free the entire south.The Isiolo project was one of them.

All the AS attacks since 2011. It was these guys pretending to be AS.
Also remember, they are given orders to attack enough so AS can be blamed, but not too much so that the security apparatus of kenya can be called into question.
