There is no Shariah anywhere in Somalia, it's all in people's head. Somalia is all capitalism driven, people can't afford to buy land because it's so expensive, under shariah this would be considered unacceptable.
100K for a house in a country where the average working wage is $100 a week is not what the true islamic governments looked like in the past because that would be considered 'riba' or usury because people can't afford to buy their essentials due to highly inflated prices which is the same as interest based loans.
We think we have shariah but we are far away from it. Islam is a religion only today around the world, not the law of the land. We are in a world today where the rich are the rulers not shariah law.

Yes. Or more better,Libya, or egypt under sadat and nasser. We somalis should start islamic socialism were the people are treated equally. We should change to a gold money (commodity) economy and stop the western system or the extreme islamic system. We should follow the examples of the countries above.
