Honestly, it's just a lot of these players are not good enough. We can just question the quality of this team because it's certainly not the manager's fault here. I starting to think that we might have too big of expectations tbh, a lot of these players are beyond average.

@Jungle someone like Taha Ali is playing in Sweden’s top club, and has a market value of $1.5 million. He has no interest in potentially injuring himself against African teams just to lift Somalia to the next level. The $100k is meant to entice him to join the squad but even that might not be enough considering his price tag is only going to rise in the next couple of years through club level transfers.

Y'all too ambitious about team who were gathered yesterday to play, they played well these games better than before with players who are unfamiliar with each others, it's showing progress

How much training are they doing? How many friendlies have they got lined? Are they all professional players or do they do this part-time?

You can do a lot with a bunch of trash/average players if they're trained to play cohesively as a unit with a game plan.

As with anything, money/investment/infrastructure is key. The more developed a country is the better they tend to do.
Talent alone won't get you far against a team that's better drilled, organised, with better nutrition, better coach etc.

Nice job to our team 3-1 to Algeria (tens of millions in funding) and Uganda 1- 0 that is not too bad at all..

next time we should defeat uganda and tie a top team then we will be most def one of top teams in east africa if not top.
