Somalia revenue for the budget.

I know that only Mogadishu pays the budget it amounts to almost 300 million dollars, so let’s say hypothetically all the federal states decides to send all their revenue to Somalia government like central government do. How much will the revenue be? Will it reach 1 billion?

The Somali government is so in efficient it could make billions through effective tax and having a proper system in place but just doesn't. Federal states must pay taxes to central gov also. Then there'll be billions to use on national development or we'll hang them inshallah

Somali government is extremely slow just look at last year budget barely 100 million dollars added to the budget this year.

In Djibouti the government get from foreign bases almost 125 million annually plus they collect 800 million dollars from taxes, and from Ethiopia 1.6 billion dollars. Djibouti have so much money they are basically can control Somalia.

We rake in hella cash just from existing yet we don't use that money to invest into creating industries and 10x that amount making us richest country in Africa per capita easily. But caloolweyn wants to buy his villa in France so unfortunately we can't

The fact that the people of Mogadishu are the only ones to pay taxes, is absolutely insane.
