It's a semi-arid desert. Those sand dunes don't cover much, some patches here and there, mostly not far from the sea.

It's great for tourism and off-roading which we can turn into a sport and profit from. Not everywhere in somalia has to be forested although i do love forests and wish for the whole of somalia to be reforested in key regions.

The purple coloured areas in the Somali peninsula are called the Somali acaci–commiphora bushlands and thickets. It's an ecoregion mostly made up of semi-arid tropical grasslands, savannas, and shrublands.
