Will African soldiers provide security for the military parade

No the Somali army provides security for Amisom. Without the Somali army, Amisom would get Smoked. Look at what happened in Kulbiyow, ceel cade, and when the Ethiopians invaded. They got smoked. Every African union base is guarded by the Somalis hence their casualties are much lower than the Somali army. Don't be a fool! Even Al Shabab know this. They tell the Somali army soldiers that they are guarding foreigners in our nation which is why they justify killing them. Amisom only guards foreign civilian workers, aid groups, UN, and airports.

Amisom withdrew from Sabiid, Canoole, Awdheegle and Janaale in 2017. The SNA did an offensive and closed out on all those regions. Now they're working on other things rather than Al Shabab. Like the transition plan, which is impossible to implement while on an offensive.
