The issue in Somalia is a tribal, terrorist, and a clan dispute not the army. Had we reconciled our grievances, the army would have secured the whole country. Puntland, Somaliland , and DDS are stable Somali regions with armies not much stronger than those of the konfuur but the real reason they secure their reasons is the less dispute. One may say that a key factor for that is the less diversity in the clans but for one to believe that an army can secure a war torn country is doqon.

500,000 Ethiopians and hundreds of Americans tried to control Somalia but they couldn't. What makes you think a 15,000 army that's under the arms embargo can? Should they cry in their bases or boost their moral and continuously train? Common people, you really think that the army is bad? I think without the Somali army, their would be all out clan war, this qabiil owning this side of the town vs that qabiil at the airport lol.

Farmaajo realized this and is using the army to do exactly just that on his political advisory's instead of Al shabab. This is where I disagree with him, he should've reconciled Somalis instead of using military power. If you believe military power can defeat Al Shabab or secure even one city you're headless. Al Shabab won't disappear militarily!! Don't blame the army for our political problems, blame the politicians.

These aren't Somali regions these are occupied by secessionists, Ethiopians and UAE. We will develop a Somalia for somalis not foreigners!

Furthermore, 50K Ethiopians are enemies of Somalis and naturally won't ever be able to rule our country. Local Somali soldiers and local police will pacify the regions and help secure the nation.
