Lexicon has nothing to do with the classification of a language. That is based on its internal structure as a language like its morphology. English is not "part Germanic and part Latin" because it contains many Latin words, it is 100% Germanic regardless of how many Greek, Latin, French or whatever words are in it because it is extremely rare for a language's basic structure like its morphology to be changed by contact. Somali is still firmly Cushitic in this respect.

And like I said, go to a magaalad like Boosaaso or Hargeyso or Xamar and see how many people you meet who even know how to speak actual Arabic. Worse yet, go to tuuloyinka.
