I know this is a bit of stretch for some to believe but Somalia are doing ok in terms of social relations and economics well I mean(informal sector as their no real formal economy that is managed and recorded) and suuq madow(local schemes), socially no-one cares about you in the nation and even when I was there in the warlord era it wasnt much different in terms of the indifference attitude, it's not like the city is stopping for U or to harm you(U need to matter first before anyone even contemplates that like have some worth not be some dead weight or have no benefit or gain), their is something called over there when I was there life goes on with or without U mentality(unsaid but the behaviours clearly showed that) and they did tell me as kid we dont waste a bullet on dead weight as it cost money lol, everything is transactional mindset back then n probably still plays a huge role today

Yes security wise right now it is a bit fragile due to the shaky politics(due to primarily politician personal interests presented as clan disputes so the locals get fired up over their wallet interests), their is a serious lack of courts or reliable rule of law is another big issue not allowing for any trust to develop in the state cause U can't let ya guard down to much there, bad governance(their tired of igu sawirs, media rants, waa inoo shir kale yet nothing has changed for the better in their lives or land) the public are not stupid they know when their being played for fools.
As for the moryanimo yes it happens usually discreetly if their smart and blatantly if their stupid, what U want ppl to do, sit there and play Kumbayah, shukansi, nationalism with u or let's recite the Qur'an ? Sxb life needs money, if U got an opportunity to make it(honestly or ill gotten) I doubt many of U here would play saint like at the opportunity especially if U knew Somalia situation irrespective of leader of the day will very likely be hated or they won't co-operate with him and even if he did something positive for U guys he knows your values(U don't have gratitude and r neglectful and will be probably insult him as kindness is weakness there) so it's better to take care of himself, line up fams or clans as further insurance to develop, and just take care of his dog in this race before he loses the opportunity with your(sad attempts to distract or compromise him about his loot cuz he knows if U were in his spot U would be the same since corruption is a foundational part of the Somali culture)
