The same thing is true all across Africa. Somalia is not even in the top 20 of the most beautiful African countries.

The issue with Africa, and Somalia in particular, is that whatever benefit of the natural beauty and natural resources is canceled out by the backward cultural systems and the people---corrupt, tribal, uneducated, and violent. These African tendencies are multiplied 10x in Somalia.

You can go to Mogadishu and have that nice lunch on the beach, but there's a good chance you'll be blown up by some jaahil terrorist on your way back to the hotel.

So that's why anybody with any brains should take a hard pass on Somalia. Just ask Hodan.
