I am quite suprised that Puntland is very short changed in terms of foreign aid. This is quite unacceptable. Puntland deserves at least 1/3 or 30% of anything allocated towards Somalia. Because Land Wise Bosaso to Galkayo is 750 Kilomter, that's 1/3 of Somalia. Population Wise, Puntland is 30% of Somalia if not more because when you look overseas you see heaps of Puntlanders everywhere around the world compared to other tribes. Infact Minneapolis is the largest diaspora center of Somalia and we know who dominates there. Infact in the 1960s before puntlanders settled mogadishu, mogadishu was only 2 districts, it was the advent of puntlanders that turned it into a large city, just like the advent of puntlanders from the diaspora will turn somalia upside down.

Something really needs to be done about this aid distribution, it appears the lion-share is going to Hawiye and Isaaq. The Feds-Banadir-Galmudug-Hirshabelle are getting like $270 Million, While Somaliland is getting $135 Million. Puntland only got a mere $87 million. This is just totally wrong on all levels.
