It’s long been rumoured ever since HSM’s election Hussein Sheikh Mohamud is the UPD pick for KG.

Confirmed. Villa Somalia seem to think election time is soon otherwise why resign a year and three months before November 2024 when the ‘extension’ agreement was signed.

HSM has a month before decision is made on debt relief and has already got the signatures of the FMS for the things he needs so maybe there’s backsliding on FMS election now he no longer needs them.
