Al-Shabaab is funded by Arab states that are known shoe-lickers of Israel. The State of Israel indirectly funds Al-Shabaab by propping these spineless, money-hungry leaders that directly supplies these groups at the behest of their Israeli masters.

So absolutely crushing Al-Shabaab is a form of 'helping Palestine', if one could put it that way.
