Don't listen to these fools, I would say even 4 years is not enough and the gap should be bigger unless you are seeking some immature class mate you will turn into a room mate that will divorce you tomorrow while regretting this years later when he matures (happens all the time)

If you observe our parents a lot of them had big gaps 10+, those that didn't or were of similar age often headed for divorce, this is because the female matures far quicker then the male does, and class mates turned into room mates mates never succeed that long together.

The average western Muslim male begins his real maturity at 26, there are of course very small exceptions based on circumstances but that's the general rule, especially in this western luxurious lifestyle because prosperity breeds idiots and weak men.
