yall beef all the time. every time i stumble into somali twitter i mostly see beef usually between somali females and niggas and the occasional somali kpop stan account.

why don't yall just abandon each other then?
it don't seem like a good healthy relationship?
i have heard many times from older somali women that somali dudes and shit and etc.

also do you guys know people who bash somali men/women 24/7 on social media but ended up getting married with a somali person, because if so thats just some complete irony.


the somali community aint big in my area, so i don't interact with other somalis besides my father. so i have never had beef with any other somali.

That's honestly what it seems like. Overall I'mpression is that they are ditching Somali dudes/women and going after the non Somalis.

There are very few Somalis where live, but I don't live too far from large Somali communities. I've never ever seen a young Somali couple. But neither have I seen mixed couples outside of two friends, my uncle, and some distant relatives I don't give a shit about.

Somali twitter is very weird. I believe that they really mean what they say, but you'll never catch a single one with a bf/husband on their page so they just come across frustrated to me. Meanwhile Somali guys on there are super defensive and pretty much a punchline.

Somalis and Somali twitter in particular is just a cocktail of insecurity, faux-conservatism and wanting to fit in.

Insha'Allah I will conduct extensive research on Somali twitter and publish a study.
