If only somali shayukh spoke about all the injustice in Somalia instead of a film. They are out of touch with young Somalis. They’d have a heart attack if they went on Somali fob Tiktok.

I didnt watch the film and I doubt it has anything shocking in it but if it’s an actual degenerate film, I don’t mind people calling it out. But our culama are not serious about calling out all the death, injustice and corruption in our land, so getting mad over a film is kinda crazy to me.

Yet they don't say anything about corrupt politicians starving their own people of basic necessities

These odeys are a cancer and should be treated as such

They do speak out about corruption and other ills. Do you regularly listen to them?

Whenever one does not like what the shuyookh say they engage in this whataboutism.

This series normalizes and makes out drugs and rape to be a wide spread issue, though it happens, like everywhere in the world it is at a minimal in Somalia compared to the rest of the world and the same people funding this series and pumping the drugs and degeneracy in.

They dont need to oppose one thing at a time, shows and movies are used to socially engineer societies, look at what hollywood has done and normalized over the years.

The scholars and Muslims will always call out and warn against all evils. Alhamdulilah they are speaking up about it.

I just posted these verses in another thread:

Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allāh knows and you do not know.

And if it had not been for the favor of Allāh upon you and His mercy... and because Allāh is Kind and Merciful.

O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allāh upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allāh purifies whom He wills, and Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.

Surah An-Nur 19-21

We don't because they are regularly silent except for a few Shaykhs. A public communique or speech is given out on public. There was no such outrage for many issues for the past decade. I promise you these people were paid by Astaan. Astaan puts up the same kind of films but they said nothing.

In the same sentence you just said you don’t listen to them and now somehow you know what they speak on? They speak on all subjects and even then, this is whataboutism that is used.

The fact of the matter is the show is promoting degeneracy and majority of the people will support them.

You also just accused the scholars of taking bribes and lying, you just pulled that out of thin air. Shameless.

Nah cause imagine all the fun children in somalia will never experience because of people wanting to control them sheesh

Gladly raised in the west, a simple tv series? 🤣💀 backwards ahh people

Casually calling part of the Shariah a disease.

Not to mention glamourizing free mixing, trying to normalize *ornography, drugs, girls acting like gangsters.

The entire story line is filled with degeneracy and looks like it was written by a western liberal gaal.

It is no wonder it was immediately promoted by western propaganda like BBC calling it "shattering taboos" in which they mean shattering Islamic norms in a Muslim society. This is for sure funded by the west.

You are so fiery and full of energy but I disagree that they are a cancer, they are simply unemployed.

these sheekhs are focusing on this show so much it shows they’re out of touch with stuff that going on back home they have a huge platform and can reach out to alot of people but instead they’re prioritizing a tv show?

- thieves and gangs
- dugsi macaliin raping boys and also girls getting raped
- cops killing innocent civilians bajaj drivers etc
- corrupt politicians
- clan favourism
-youth unemployment

The list goes on you won’t see them have a sermon about these topics on a Friday prayer

I must respectfully bring to your attention that the utilization of a five-second quote to spread misinformation is unfair . However, I am willing to extend the benefit of the doubt to you, given that it appears that individuals who are in opposition to this program for political and financial reasons are the ones spreading this misinformation.

Furthermore, as an avid viewer of Somali riwayad, both old and new, it is imperative that one comprehends Somali humor before making accusations of the show criticizing the shariah. Somali shows, particularly those featuring women, often raise the issue of having four wives. I, for one, have previously expressed my opinion on men who do not even perform the five obligatory salah, yet demand four wives. It does not imply that I am against Islam if I highlight the hypocrisy within my own community.

It is natural for people to express their grievances and criticisms, as it is a fundamental aspect of societal growth and development. Without constructive criticism, there can be no progress.

There are more important issues for these sheikhs to focus on. People have always blamed the arts for being corruptive and malevolent

It has also come to my attention that there is a dominant media in Somalia (not mentioning names) that is attempting to shut down BileTv due to being their competitors. It is important to note that the first episode of another popular Somali show, which started a year ago, has fewer views than the first episode of ARDAAY which started 2 weeks ago. Thus, I urge all of you to refrain from spreading false accusations without proper evidence.

Let's be cautious of misinformation that may be spread by individuals with political, financial, and tribalistic agendas. Please be mindful of what you read on the internet and do not allow yourselves to be used as pawns.

I would have thought the 4 wives comment would have been obvious to any woman that it isn’t an attack on the Sharia. It was clearly about men prioritizing that above all other aspects of the deen or men greedily trying to marry more when they can’t afford it. I can only imagine a man not seeing the obviousness of what is meant.
