Somali Shakespeare takes the stage at the UN

Fahad Yasin :snoop:

Nepotism needs to be outlawed, a President shouldn't have a single relative in the entire government. The N&N Cult doesn't care about Somalia's progress or image, all they care about is benefiting personally.

Khadija Diriye fired 16 Puntite employees and replaced them with people from her own Federal State. Farmaajo helped his brother become the only Khat dealer and his goons burn and intercept supplies belonging to other dealers. Not only that, but his clansmen are also given cushy positions and paid to run propaganda houses. Fahad Yasiin and his relatives in NISA and this guy here among others we don't know about.

By now, most Somalis must see what's going on here.

Death Awaits You
What a fucking shame. Somalia has a population of 10 million. Can't they select at least a representative with an average working memory and reading comprehension ? This country is doomed forever

Nobody is 'hating', none of us appreciate or accept such incompetence, especially at an International Level. They are making Somalia look like even more of a joke than it is now.
There are unemployed, hardworking young Somalis who are competent at speaking Somali. If this job was opened up to the public, so many CVs would have come flooding in.

Before N&N brought their illiterate relatives, Somalia had a great man representing us at the United Nations, AUN "Bari Bari". A respected intellectual.

This is what the United Nations said when he was killed by AlShaydaan.

Death of Ambassador β€œBari Bari”of Somalia a loss for human rights https://news.un.org/en/audio/2015/04/598782

Yusuf Mohamed Ismail "Bari-Bari" (Somali: Yuusuf Maxamed Ismaaciil, Arabic: يوسف Ω…ΨΩ…Ψ― Ψ₯Ψ³Ω…Ψ§ΨΉΩŠΩ„β€Ž, born 15 July 1958 – died 27 March 2015) was a Somali diplomat and politician. He was the Ambassador of Somalia to the United Nations Human Rights Office in Geneva.

The United Nations held a tree planting ceremony for him in Geneva.

Unfortunately, therefore lack of any wisdom

I can easily express myself In both Somali and English I am a intellectual person as few Somalis have pointed out in the past furthermore the lack of intellectual politicians after 1991 is a serious issue facing the country since the successive governments after the collapse of the state promoted clannism instead of nationalism like the previous ones did

You can’t call somebody a moron simply because of their english.

Of course you can, as @Hybrid() pointed out he could have at least practiced or rehearsed his statement, had zero self awareness of his abilities or he didn’t give a sh**, which makes him a moron in any case.

Further, if he spoke poor English why did he even show up? Or read in af Somali so someone else could translate it. No one is dogging anyone for bad English but he is a moron for the decisions he made that led to him looking a fool at the UN and tarnishing the reputation of Somalia.

Other ambassadors aren’t that different when speaking english, I’d argue that he should’ve just spoken somali but all that really matters is getting the point across.
