You do know that we are about to become the 3rd biggest ethnic group there right. Also we are in politics and we have big businesses there. Somali people are building the tallest building in Africa in Kenya. Kenyans call us boss even to your average somali because we employ them instead of them turning against the government. We also have fearless somali cops there to make peaceful neighborhoods. Have you seen the BBC Africa documentary about Somali cops in Kenya?

The France government supported immigration from their colonies since they lacked labor force during the reconstruction of France after the World War lots of Arabs and Africans in France are 3rd generations.

Also, remember France have a couple of overseas departments in the Indies who travel to mainland France for bigger opportunities.

Tbh English and Belgians were the worst, France gave you rights and treated you like a citizen if you learned their language/culture and you could become a French citizen but the Brits treated their colonials as inferiors subjects.

But in most other European countries the number of new Somalis has stagnated since ~2009.

Interesting so the number of somalis entering Sweden is becoming very low too? I thought that place has been the Hotspot for somali refugees.

USA, Kenya, Canada, Australia, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, UK, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Most of us are in those countries. You might find some in Austria or Russia lol

Most of the Somalis in Finland descend from or have ties to Somali students who were studying in Moscow under a Soviet-Barre Gov sponsorship.

When BOTH the Soviet Union AND Somalia collapsed at roughly the same time, they went to Finland en masse.
