Somali polygamy good or bad?

What's your take on the Somali polygamy? Do you see it as a normal thing?
Back in the day it was a necessity but it's no longer like that, today it's more of a lifestyle.

Somalis are dying young we need good healthy facilities to increase the life span. It doesn't matter how much of children you make if they dying young (40-60).

Completely caadi, but based on the sheer amount of genuine frustration and superficial calacaal in the community regarding that, I assume my experience w/ it is not reflective of the wider community.

I don't intend on marrying a second wife at any point in my life because we live in a vastly different environment and culture. It's easy to slip up and neglect your duties with all the added pressures of life here and rack up problems in this life and the next.

Truth be told, I think it's whack for, especially older men, to go to Kenya to get re-married when you don't have your affairs in order in your first home. And they seem to be the primary demographic partaking in this.

Somalia is no where near to being desert. But we should be able be able to provide for the 25 million that we're now, but we most def need to increase our population by 4x at least.

it just doesn't make sense to have that much land with no desert and that long coastal line and be at 20-25 million. Somalia is severely sparsely populated, maybe the most in Africa. You can easily notice that if you travel through Somalia by land. There are only 2 Somali cities with a population number breaking the million barrier.

Desertification can be stopped Sxb. It was stopped in the 70s with only 5,000 using their bare hands. We also have enough to feed ourselves, we just need good leaders. Our fish alone and grass lands in the south can sustain 2x our population if we had good planning and agricultural techniques.
