Somali Political Strategy Hasn't Progressed From The 1960's

I am stunned to see Somalia not move an inch into a new direction in it's political manuvering/strategy, even after the civil war. This must be due to a huge brain drain locally. In the 1960's The Majerten Clan created the SYL and populated it with various clans to give it a national legitimacy, but behind closed doors in the party, posts were selected for MJS while other clan posts required they had an MJ mother, Wife, in-law as pre-requirement.

Ask any hawiye who had a title of worth during 1960-1969(95% had mj abtis/mothers/in-laws). Now all we see is HAGS copy this strategy under HSM for his political manuevering, Same with Farmajo selecting his 'in-law khayre'.

This is a predictable shit-show where you know the 'ending' of the outcome without even needing to analyze it. Once HSM is removed by PL like they did with Farmajo, the old-timer MJS will resort to the same tactic, then they will be removed and the shit show continues. It's a strategy that doesn't leave behind a legacy and only leads to stalemate to continue.

So I want New Generation Majertens, to disregard this old strategy, somalis have caught on, it's time to embrace a new direction for our political manuevering using 'science, rationality'. This is where our enemies 'lack' the most, kama dhisna dhinaca 'maskaxda', halkas ayaa la 'weerara' ileen 'jawabtooda' wuxu noqonaya mid 'isdhib ah' becuz even if they fight or oppose, the whole Somalis and the world will side with us since we are using a tactic that 'unites' ppl on common ground their 'brains'.

We must for the next century promote this new strategy across Puntland and make sure our leaders are 'masters' at it. We must also ensure our leaders seek power over a philosophy-vision then political program time-tabled across 5 years so it can be 'evaluated', so it doesn't end up being a 5 years of 'regrets and wasted time' or god forbid come to power only for it to end with 'xaa cuna'.

We must also evaluate if our leaderss their genetically gifted or educated in politics or both based on their personal-professional-community track record, their social networks locally-regionally-globally, their diplomacy skill to navigate and manuevere other politicians using only 'rationality and brain' strategy to achieve Puntland friendly outcomes. If we do not adopt this new strategy, we are playin a stategy from the 1960s which all Somalis have caught onto and will only lead to a stalemate ending.

I'll summarize shortly the tactic of the brain. U must present your ideas following 'theory' which means you present it, test it for it's benefits/losses/risks/comparisons and then streghten it further with practical model in the world where people can see it at work or how it fits into Somali context post civil war recovery.

If u follow that strategy, u have now developed a politics grounded in 'caqli' and our enemies are very 'weak' around this area and will surrender either thru pressure locally or globally becuz it's grounded in the 'brain' which all humans have and can evaluate.

An example poor countries are poor why? in theory they all lack hard-social infrastructure, practically you can point to all 3rd world countries sharing this same symptom. Solution = GOVT must develop social-hard infrastructure in order for markets to be developed.

Another example of brains being used. Western IMF/World bank restrict african countries from nation building loans on the ground of 'risk', u present the risk rating applied to the african continent by these organizations. U accept the issue is an 'african problem' due to poor governance while poor governance is due to 'social decay' and social decay needs a cultural revolution. The outcome is they are relegated to 'aid n charity' which practically no nation has cured poverty with.

See it's about presenting a 'theory' testing it and then showing practical real world models. We must follow this strategy and present a majerten friendly argument and outcome while also ensuring it 'benefits' somalis as a whole. It's unrealistic that u want PL to be a heaven yet surrounded by 'hell', it's unworkable that outcome. Our solutions and outcomes must ensure majerten friendly outcomes but also ensure Somali positive outcome also.

All our solutions must show how PL is and will be positive force for Somalia. Even my 99 year independence treaty argues on how if PL saves itself and remains outside the south conditions, we can return stronger and better to help the south.
