you will always be looked at as an immigrant not as a german. Get to know your people. be proud about it.
I see chinese people with their 2 year olds in public speaking their language like a pro, You won't even hear them say mom in english LOL we can learn from them and spanish people.

I do speak Somali in public and I know Somali ppl but not in my area cuz there aren’t any
