Alim Ahmed Fatah an Inventor from Somalia.
Alim Ahmed Fatah was born in Las Khorey, Somalia he is a Scientist , Author and Inventor he studied overseas another word Aboard and received his High School diploma and General Certificate of Education, GCE with his honors from the University of London. He is an Author who wrote books like Test Protocol for Comparative evaluation of Protective gloves for law enforcement, Guide for the selection of chemical and Biological Decontamination and other books, he later returned back to his homeland in Somalia and entrolled in the new national College for Education Lafoole at Afgoye but left after 8 months he secured a scholarship in Kuwait with five other Somali students and attened the Kuwait University his inventions and innovations, the popular self adhesive stamp is an evironmentally friendly, and recyclable postage stamp with non toxic securi inks, modern postage stamp cancelletion inks which is currently used in all American postal service facilities. He was the Co- Iventor and also co ivented with another chemist a proprietary ptocess of removing N-nitro soamines impurities, synthesized new types of noinic surfactants for application such as diswasher, detergents, fiber lubricants, hydraulic flyids, agricultural chemicals and cosmerics as a Senior materials scientist at Artech Corporation in 1986 he developed a new lumniescent both fluorescent and phosphorescent taggants, based on terbium and europium metals for use with environmentally engineered water based inkjet printer inks in mail bar coding for optical character recognition. He was awarded as the Best graduate student for the Best graduate student Award in England, Zappert Award, the U.S. Postal Service Merit Award which is the Team leadership Award and the Gold Medal Award for Leadership, Accomplishment and Distinguished Service.
