In my city I heard of a few stories of abdis running off on their ajnabi partners and marrying a xalimos diaspora or back home.

Hi I was one of those high school guys you mentioned. It’s just easier to date a cadaan girl then xalimo or any other muslim ting especially if you’re too broke to afford mehr and a nikkah ceremony as melt 15 - 18 year olds are

These men are afraid to commit. They worry about what their family or community will think about them marrying the girl and thus deny themselves the pleasure of marriage. It's a hard life but you have to man up and convert them or move on.
Young brothers need to fear Allah and avoid zina. Dating a non Muslim woman is haram and will lead to Zina undoubtedly.
Why even date a woman you know you will never marry due to having different religious backgrounds. Just fast and wait a few years to establish yourself and find a pious Muslim wife instead of going for a Kaafir woman who doesn't even wash her behind correctly.
What's even worse is when they have kids through illegal intercourse or even marriage. 9/10 those kids will follow the religion of their mother's.

I've been suspecting that Somali parents aren't involved in their children lives enough, the fathers should be enoucraging their kids to get married early to avoid issues like this, yet they let them live in western culture and don't expect them to get married until later and think everything is going to be fine.
This issue will always be a problem, even if the men/boys don't bother with women and dating they'll go on the internet and satisfy themselves by watching stuff and yet the parents don't think it'll be an issue, how stupid. The women/girls too are not totally disaffected, they crave love and attention as a women naturally does so a lot will find ways to get attention from men whether that's with how she dresses or social media attention/private messaging etc, the modern day is ripe for young people and unmarried people into doing haram acts. Yet the parents don't care. It's wild. They don't realize how patient you have to be, how often you have to lower your gaze and how easily accessible things you shouldn't be doing (social media attention and p*rn) are.
They never had to deal with these issues and mostly got married younger, they're completely behind the times and are clueless about their children. I've seen examples of parents making the children build up their wealth without thinking of their own childrens future and akhira.

Also, somali guys move slow to get married, no sense of urgency. Its not even financial, shisheeye muslims in the same position as these faaraxs get married. Nikkas just wasting time.

Smart women aren't getting married early. Plus if a divorce happens than we would just have another young single mom in the community that would struggle to find a partner. Young diasporan niggas aren't rushing to marry single moms like niggas back home.
We simply don't have that many young Somali men that are financially stable enough for marriage.
You hit the nail on the head brother. The parents are extremely disconnected with the reality of what its like to be a young Muslim Somali in the west and the fitna you go through.
Hopefully the next generation of Somali parents will be able to help their kids better. Inshallah.
In my area they marry them. Our community isn't big so these guys aren't being forced by their parents to marry a religious xalimo.

The commitment itself is not what I'm against. It's the fact that a lot of young couples have kids. Young single moms have horrible dating pools and a lot of young marriages end in divorce.
