I think Somali culture should change to allow for dating and boyfriends and girlfriends. Relationships and feelings for someone are natural. Relationships build confidence and self awareness. We learn our tastes and desires and it will give the necessary experience for marriage or long term arrangements. I think the divorce rate would not be as high if relationships were encouraged. It will also allow women to know if their husbands will be able to provide sensually instead of being unhappy for years.

Logistically (without sex of course) it would help people get to know each other without getting hitched.

Honestly a girl being sexually active in our community won't work period. Even if she had one she's a by our standards to be frank. For us girls it's not worth the risk and I'd rather throw a shot in the dark before forsaking myself and my religion.

Divorce rates in the western world died down over time.The reason most divorces happen is the excessive feminisation of men from a young age.As the west grows men will continue being more docile.Funnily enough this will turn more women off, less marriage etc.

I also don’t like the separation of social setting by gender. A lot of people grow up socially retarded when it comes to the opposite sex.


Also we NEED a proper education of sex and reproductive health awareness. RN all ppl say don’t have sex before marriage... and that’s not the point health is paramount and it’s shouldnt be over looked just because ... whatever I’m getting too pissed off.


Last two cents, I think people marriage should be illegal until the age of 21 in order to protect young girls.

Lmaaaooo. What I meant was, without the entrapment of marriage. Sexual exploration should be a thing. Of course knowing our ppl judgement is the only sport we excel in. It would be I guess socially awkward but don’t get caught. Or better yet live in a free/accepting environment.
