Well yemen fucked up and got colonised and we never deserved the island anyway tbh given our 30yr track record. Israel and the UAE have annexed the island and plan on building a intelligence base there.

it's against international law. The way i see it looks like it will take forever for Yemen to get back on it's feet or if war does end, it'll break into two and the breakaway countries may well lose the rights the island.

I remember reading reports of UAE offering socotra island to Somalia in exchange for somali support in yemen crisis, but farmaajo said something along the lines of "somalia and yemen are brotherly countries", literally no sense of realpolitik.

We didnt forget how they helped Ethiopia in our second war against us. Soon we will take island back to our country.
