SNA divisions and brigades are flawed

Just look at this map one division is in charge of 3 regions, some even overlap like 21st division is in charge of galgadud, mudug but also operates in hiiraan. Same thing with 60th division it’s in charge of bay, bakool but is also in gedo.

43rd is in charge of jubaland 10th brigade is gedo, 11th brigade is lower juba and apparently 12th or 13th brigade is middle juba .

It’s the 12th April division stationed in lower shabelle mostly hiiraab and murusade.

There’s nothing called 61th I think you mean 60th.

Central command: dhuusamareeb
Southern command: baidoa

43th: gedo, middle juba, lower juba
60th: bay, bakool, lower shabelle

54th: nugaal, bari
Another division: sool, sanaag, togdheer

26th sector was the largest and most important sector within the Somali army. In the CIA papers it was draining the Somali the resources of the MOD at the expense of other sectors. There is no way 26th division will return to Hargeisa anytime soon.

before federalism Middle Shabelle lower shabelle and Banadir were under 12 april with HQ in Mogadishu. I remember Waare becoming against it operating in Balcad area bc it was not in line with Federalism. Was headed by Caanood Mx, Qaafow Abgaal, AUN cageey Gaaljecel and Tawana Xawaadle before ho got moved to 27aad Hirshabelle.

It has Cayr under Jaamici. It has some Hawadle brought by Omar hashi when he was Security minister used to operate in Qoryooley wich has XL population. Murusade qataatow is part of it.
