Secularism in places where there is no religious diversity makes no sense.

Somalia with a 99% Muslim population doesn’t need a secular government. It needs a government that protects freedom of religion but doesn’t need an agnostic government.

As for the West, I think secularism and the increasing negative scrutiny on Islam makes us more religious. If someone tries to take something from you, you are more likely to hold onto it.

It’s all about whether you think that’s a good thing or not….
