Palestinians use Jordanian documentations when they travel. In fact, there's a special passports specifically for Palestinians issues by Jordan.
no one really talks about this, but the reason Palestine doesnt exist is because the "people of palestine" are a protectorate of the Hashemite kingdom of jordan. the king of jordan is only ns only in power because of the british and europe. if jordan released the title of "protectorate of the Palestinians" that is the only way Palestinians will be able to gain sovereignty. Israel uses this legal loophole to steal land from the Palestinians, and Jordan keeps the title because the king would become powerless if he works against the west.
i feel like 99% of the world argues for Palestine, but don't blame Jordan enough.
Are you serious? Don't disrespect Jordan like this, even if you don't like their King(s). It's obvious that their monarchy is a wester-supported/allied institution, but he has no power whatsoever in Palestinian territories today.
In fact, no other (Arab) country has done to help and stand with the Palestinians like Jordan. When the Nakba happened in 1948 and Palestinians were driven out of their land and again after 1967, Jordan was the only country that gave them citizenships. Meanwhile, they are still stateless in other Arab countries after living there for 70+ years.
And saying that Palestine doesn't exist because they are a 'protectorate of Jordan' is a failed attempt at trying to wash off everything Israel has done to Palestinians and their land. No one can be held more accountable to the current reality of Palestinians, than Israel itself.
If you follow the Israel-Palestinian conflict, then maybe you would've know that Jordan gave up its claim to Palestinian territories in the *90s*. What has happened since then? Everything has gotten worse for Palestinians and lost more land. The only thing Jordan claim today is being custodian of the holy site.
you are right, i didnt know they gave up that right in 1988, i'm mature enough to know when i am wrong. then it begs the question, why does the world show so much support to palestine when there is the same things happening to Africans, Burmese, or Uyghurs at the same time.
i know its a weird take, but outside the islamic holy sites, it just seems like Palestine/hamas has better PR.
