Communist party was the greatest thing that ever happened to us. In the 70's we were communists and the Socialist party had people of all tribes in it, then Barre hijacked the kacaan and sided with the americans after going against the soviets.

Imagine if we went the china route instead, we would be a power house.

No communism was, not the greatest thing to happen to us. Only China was smart enough to implement market reforms to communism. I don't think we would have been that smart.

Either way, I don't really like communism.

Lool I remember my pops telling me they tried to gaalify siad barre because he had the balls to try and get women educated and be seen as equals. Sheikh tuulo all got clapped to heaven when they tried to cause an uproar. Sometimes dictatorships can be good I guess.
