when the Southern regions (Italian Somaliland) & the Northern regions (British Somaliland) were being unified, Reer Waqooyi took the right of governance (from the North) and brought it to us with goodwill. The whole thing should have been handed over to them! They were not considered at all! Only Maxamed Ibrahim Cigaal was there with them (as Northern representative) and this was due to his masculinity!

So when the Somali government collapsed, without even saying goodbye, Reer Waqooyi came together & built their own government
