Their are multiple different dialects tooMandarin will almost certainly be the most useful 2nd lang in the west. Its hard af to learn tho
Why not? Learning anything worthwhile can be fun and interesting (if taken seriously)
For a while I was obsessed with laoshu5000 channel so I wanted to try it out too.
I never got too far with it besides learning a couple words and phrases.
However I seen some a bunch of channels with different Somali girls a while back speaking Korean very proficiently.
It was interesting to see it become a big wave; so check some of those out too for motivation.
So far I find most of us native cushitic speakers have no problem learning other languages too much as long as you're smart enough to dedicate practice efficiently (and to an extant love for immersion too.)
