Everybody knows it was negotiated under Siyaads gov the problem is the dumbass current politicians didn’t account for inflation when they agreed to the same exact terms Siyad did in 88

When Saudi Arabia was first extracting oil, the oil companies were taking 90%, because the Saudis were beggars. Now the Saudis themeselves own the oil extracting company and keep 100% of revenue.
The problem with Somalia is not oil extraction but corruption. Even if we extract oil and we are given a great deal, it does not matter if say someone like HSM was still president, the guy was a corrupt and would've stollen the funds.
I hope Farmaajo gets another 4 years, and therafter Kheyre gets 8 years and then Beyle gets 8 years.
That would give Somalia 24 years of unprecedent stability. Somalia could definitely become a safer, richer country if the above scenario plays out.

I use to believe all people are equal at all times. It is true that all people are born equal, but due to merit some have a natural right to lead and others should know their place and be led.
In other countries the masses know their place and let the elite lead their country to a better place. Those countries are now first class.
