SFG troops in Gedo split in two, 300 HAG soldiers fighting to return to Mogadishu.

300 Hawiye soldiers that were sent to Gedo to fight Jubbaland, left Farmaajo's clannist army because they refused to attack Jubbaland and carry out Farmaajo's clannist agenda. They understand that their enemy is AlShaydan and not other Somalis.

They set up camp by themselves and were attacked and threatened, they initially had bases in Beled Hawo and then they moved to Dooloow Airport where they are demanding to return home but the desperate despot wants to keep them hostage.

Farmaajo is scared that these troops will join the Badbaado Qaran army and bolster the opposition.

Because in the 90's they begged HG Cayr to help them capture Kismaayo, they are trying to repeat the same formula. These people are not capable of securing anything by themselves, look at Gedo, it looks like an AU convention, in Central Somalia, they are concentrated in one town because the rest of their hamlets were taken from them.

They tried to tell the soldiers that they will return half now, half later, the soldiers refused as they were attacked several times before and dividing them in half, will make them sitting ducks.
