That ship sailed, Madoobe refused to accept the interim presidency which would have been a good legacy for him as it would legitimize his 10 years dictatorship, what can he offer Farmaajo who is already looking to win the election, how many seats are in Madoobes hands now ? JL seats are split between Garbaharey and Kismaayo, and I doubt clans of JL who hate Madoobe will be elected in Kismaayo, it would be an embarrassing moment for Madoobe either way, fully submitting to Farmaajo would not grant him any exoneration for his crimes.

They legitimized the rigging. This was the beginning but they also accepted the Jubbaland and puntland rigged elections where the likes of Fartaag competed with his driver In puntland, the so called senator candidates can't read the paper they are using to withdraw from the election. Absolutely agree with you he must be put in a court and tried for his countless crimes against JL natives. Anything less is unacceptable

They won’t be, it’s just typical propaganda. Amisom and the government agreed on a checklist before they leave and on their side they had to vacate the stadium which they did ages ago. The government had to clear a particular road and I think a village or town which they haven’t. They’re going to extend it on 31st December.

Yeah the checklist was in London Security Pact in 2017 all FMS leaders took part in signing.

How will AMISOM be kicked out? I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

There will be a conditional extension which will require the SFG to be the head of AMISOM and certain neighboring countries like Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti to leave immediately if not then the whole AMISOM will be told to leave.

Somalia won't just sign whatever AMISOM brings to the table which was evident on their rejection of AU/AMISOM proposals and even the UN/UK/USA/security council agreed with Somalia,

AMISOM will be still be here this time next year but the AMISOM that will be here will be completely different and this time 2 years from now 0 AMISOM will be in Somalia.
