Nobody knows what the meeting was actually about, no one to hold them accountable. Sooner this dictator leaves the better, democracy is ill-fitted under his leadership, as even that will find a way to be corrupted.
that’s exactly what I’m doing here, the news given was that they rejected any talks until Ethiopia backed out of their MOU. I’m saying we don’t actually know what happened. This is just one of many times the Somali public has been deceived this term.I would trust everything you read. While it is possible that talks happened in no way do I think it was engaged by Somali delegates. Rather I think it's more from Kenya wanting the clout of solving the issue.
The Somali public hasn't been involved in political environment since before the fall of the nation. We're still using a system designed to be a temporary measure till we get a fully fledged political climate running. So honestly I'm not surprised at how things are run, it feels like we'll never get 1m1v or accountability in political decisions.that’s exactly what I’m doing here, the news given was that they rejected any talks until Ethiopia backed out of their MOU. while sure this meeting wasn’t exactly propagated by the gov, the lack of public knowledge of what goes on in these meetings is profound. They’re all his relatives/close associates, so who’s stopping anyone there from saying “so&so happened” while the actual topic was more cordial and agreeable.
I trust other sources that arent somali, since the Somali one has been compromised. It’s Hassan’s relatives, in a closed door meeting, no accountability.
