Itβs disgusting who these people are cosying up to in order to get a crumb of recognition just to be rejected every single time.
Especially when you consider the people who she is representing would crucify these people if they would set foot in any city in SL.

The sad thing is that person his begging is essentially a person of no status or influence in their society, begging the eelays of other societies, gee the madness never ends with SL. How is Israeli or western commoner going to recognize u outside ur land and yet within ur land no-one does. These guys r idiots. Quebec wants secession also in Canada, do they go around begging 4 it outside Canada? how is someone outside of canada 'relevant' isma waydiyaa. This clan is severely mentally colonized in comparison to other Somali clans. All Somali clans r mentally enslaved also but this clan is definitely on the 'extremist' end of it.
They know that democracy and freedom of opinion are almost non-existent in Somaliland, and in fact, freedom of opinion in other parts of Somalia is better than Somaliland. They always want to insult Somalia as a country at every available opportunity in front of foreigners, as if cursing Somalia in front of foreigners will increase their chances of separating from Somalia. The only solution for these people is to establish Awdal and SSC State as federal regions and installing unionists from the Garxajis tribe as rulers of Somaliland may help solve the historical problem in Somaliland that began in 1961 until today.
They remind me of careless Palestinian leadership. Hamas selectively chooses markets-schools-hospitals to base itself from and attack Israel knowing the response will cause civilian casualties and they think political sympathy globally, they been refuted down on this many times not to use human sheilds yet they still do, that's careless leadership.
Even if the globe civilians sympathize with them not knowing it's all 'calculated' by hamas, their govts wont change positions. SL did exactly the same thing hit n runs, hide among civilian quarters, bait Siyad to attack so SNM gets local/national/global sympathy? for what ultimate end? it was nothing but purely personal interest of their leaders and they put them thru all that for personal interest. What's funny u have the civilians who are not aware of this and sympathize with them but the political elites are fully aware.
They tried begging recognition around the world, working as a negative force in Somalia thru shabab, they also did media-online P.R spinning, yet not a single one of them says 'what have we got in return' not 1 of them sxb, they won't ask has our time-effort at a social and political level returned any fruits, and when they do analysis, I hope someone among them says 'enuff is enuff' with this careless leadership keeping them stuck in a strategy with no result for 30 years. The answer wont change in 30-50-100 years, don't assume 'length' of time changes a failed strategem.

I wouldn't stain democracy with what u see in SL. Democracy has 'grades' based on how much is grounded in 'free thinking and differences tolerance level' vs identity politics, it's not a 'uniform' thing at all. SL is wat u would essentially call a tribal democracy with tribal character not freedom of ideas. The only democratic part is 'voting' nothing else.
The votes r not guided by ideas or human rights or tolerance of difference. It's definitely not a secular-human rights-freedom based democracy. Many nations r democratic in name even North Korea is. A true democratic society will allow all ideas to exist freely without any biases or control, even ideas u disagree with. Thru this exchange of ideas is what fuels a social boom.
