I thought it was a historical land of Issa and Samaroon are 'squatters'. That town is a treasure trove of history, it would be the archaelogist top location in Somalia in terms of 'age'. I wanna go there with my own archaelogists to help identify areas to dig, but im not from that clan which will be hard.

If you look at the list, the Coordinator of Religious and endowment in Saylac owns the treasure trove you're speaking of. Masjid Qiblatain is private property and the land is owned by the family of the Coordinator where it was handed down for over 300 years. The tomb of Shaykh Zaylici and the man who has the keys to the monument is the same family and they're Bahabar Muuse, Maxamed Case, Samaroon. They held these for over 300 years.

As for the demographics, the Samaroon make up the majority of the urban settled population while the Ciise make up a large number of the rural nomadic population. When both the British and French came to Saylac, they both signed a treaty with the Samaroon first and the Ciise second.

Masjid Qiblatain and the tomb of Shayk Zaylici is the private property of the family of Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Kaariye who is also Somaliland's Coordinator of Religious affairs and endowment in Saylac, watch his interview with Hereri :

This is the project to rebuild Masjid Qiblatain by the Sheikh:

He is Bahabar Muuse, Maxamed Case, Samaroon.

I meant archaelogists to find ancient settlements of zaylac and find their 'treasures' kkkkk, I wish I had access to the town to do my thing. PPL homes and items didn't disappear bro, their under your SOIL.

The positions that matter are the Mayor, Xoghaye and the Security Commander of the District which happen to be all Ciise.

Xoghaye and Security Commander are both Samaroon.
But the city's mayor, ciise, and the majority of the municipal council
Those positions don't really mean anything when Samaroon can override it because we are the majority of the actual town.

The military under Samaroon has more power than the mayor and the entirety of the council combined.

I am by no means against Gadabursi, it’s just that a friend of mine is Ciise and he always says that it belongs to Ciise this is my first time hearing samaroon own it.
Regardless, it's between us. Adiga wax ku taala maba ah. Since when did users advocate on behalf of their friends in the politics section? Ciyaar ciyaal.

The only reason why they have the majority in the local council this time is because they poured in from Djibouti on election day. Have a look here at the polling stations for the local elections in Saylac district in 2021:

Screenshot_20231019_111809_Gmail.jpg

Lawyacado, which is part of the Saylac district and which is a small village on the Djiboutian border recorded the highest number of voters, 5763 to be precise and the highest number of polling stations in the entire Saylac district, 13 to be precise, in order to accommodate the high voter turnout coming from Djibouti. Well over 50% of those who voted came from Djibouti. In 2012, the Samaroon won the district easily because the border was closed. Simple.

Security commander of Saylac is Samaroon. In fact all of the security apparatus is Samaroon aswell. Look at the list again.

Plus we are the mayor of Lawyacado which is on the Djiboutian border.

I know we rule our area. That is without question. The funny thing is no one knows about our land and settlements. I mean, if I were Farah Nur I wouldn't even be able to get land in Dilla. What hopes does an ajnabi aka Oromo, have in Saylac of all places? :mjlol:
