he was a sufi. Im not sure he would have interpreted it as an idol. Look at the one of him in Xamar now or the one that used to be there before interahamwe sold it for scraps to Arabs. In the past Somalis didn’t interpret it as an idol. This is a relatively new understanding among most Somalis, not to say that it is wrong.

Their biggest dream for Somalis is they develop asabiyah with aethiopids. Somalis and Canfar are so distant and uniform that they don’t even bother trying to overwrite their culture like other regions.

What's wrong with widening streets/roads? Wider streets/roads are better than narrow streets/roads. The only time when narrow streets/roads are acceptable is when its impossible to widen them.
